RINGFOR MARRIAGE
A simple machine powered by the movement of daily wear, RING FOR MARRIAGE makes marks on itself to express the continuous choice of pure Love.
ENGAGEMENT Two incomplete rings are joined by a bridge of three diamonds, where the point of the central diamond is allowed to barely pierce through the bottom of the bridge.
WEDDING A complete ring, representing eternity, is placed between the two incomplete rings and beneath the bridge. Because diamonds are much harder than white gold, the point of the central diamond immediately begins to make puncture marks on the central ring’s white gold surface.
MARRIAGE As the ring assembly is worn and moves throughout the years, those repeated puncture marks on eternity grow in number and get ever closer to becoming one pure line.
