For this linear bathroom space, the design program called for a separate tub and shower, greatly reducing the potential for generous countertop space.

To avoid spending the limited bathroom work surface on a conventional wash basin, the stainless steel countertop is sloped accordingly and fabricated with an integral linear drain along the wall.

The cabinet boxes of raw 9-ply birch are ‘waterproofed’ with the same rubber skin used at the floor and wall.
